Who we are

Hello!

We’re unstuck creative, aka, Jennifer Amey and Lou Corben. We have a combined 20 years+ experience working in theatre. There’s cross-over, but Jenny mainly works in commercial theatre and Lou in the subsidised sector, giving us a unique cross-industry perspective.

Hiya, Jen here!

Originally from rural Lincolnshire, I moved to London in 2017 and since then have worked on over 50 professional productions.

Before taking the leap into freelance life, I worked in a variety of roles for two West End production houses: Suzanna Rosenthal Productions (Showstopper! The Improvised Musical) and Kenny Wax Productions (SIX, The Play That Goes Wrong, Top Hat).

Having learnt from some of the best in the business, I’ve been lucky enough to gain an extensive knowledge of creating work, and (crucially) getting people to see it!

My skills lie in creative producing, tour booking, administrative support and budgeting.

Hi, I’m Lou, I’ve worked in theatre for over 12 years and have experience across a huge range of roles from Stage Door Keeper to Director. My most unusual role so far involved living inside Battersea Arts Centre for a year and a half, where I got to support incredible artists from all over the world.

I come from a small post-industrial mining town in the North of England and I’m neurodivergent, Queer and working class. I know what it’s like to find my own way in an industry that’s full of both joy and heartache.

I thrive on variety, and at the moment I’m looking to support fellow neurodivergent creatives both onstage and off. As well as directing, dramaturgy, and acting coaching, I can support with administration, diary management and script development.
